An automated building extraction model using fuzzy K-NN classifier from monocular aerial images

The aim of this study is to develop an automated model to extract
buildings from aerial images. The fuzzy k-Nearest Neighbor classification
method is used to extract the buildings by using color information. Also,
the advantages of the relevance feedback systems are discussed. The
model is implemented in C# and a graphical user interface is developed
for the user interaction. The model is evaluated in 5 different test areas
with more than 600 buildings.
