An evaluation from the aspect of some parameters of how the teachers of physical education cope with the problems related with the school works; and how they control over their stress

This study conducted on 100 - primary school and 50 - high school teachers of Physical Education who have been teaching in the mentioned schools located around Seyhan and Yuregir counties of Adana city, has been conducted in order to, besides mentioning the problems of the teachers related with the school works, find out how their attitudes are towards coping with the stress. During the study conducted, teachers of Physical Education were required to answer the 23 questions about the school, and besides, to answer 33-clause Ways of Coping with Stress Scale (WCSS).
Of the schools participated in the study, 64 % represents the lower, 24 % represents the middle class and the residual 12 % represents the higher-class schools. While the teachers of the same levelled- class schools giving nearly similar answers to the questions asking about the problems related with the school, there has been found no coherence between the groups for their ways to handle over the stress.
Respectively, though we have not come about meaningful differentiations when comparing between the demographic specialities of the teachers of Physical Education (such as; gender, age, marital statues, the school they graduated and length of services) and their problems related with school, we have found out very expressive differentiations between their attitudes in coping with their stress from the aspects of their sex, marital status, seniority year and date of graduation. comparing the features of the schools they have been teaching in (such as; kind of the school, the assets of the school, the extant of the classes, number of the courses they handle and the socioeconomic level) and the problems related with the school, we, again, have not come about major differentiations; however, we have found out some expressive differentiations in their attitudes in coping with their stress considering the socioeconomic level of the school they have been teaching and number of the courses they handle.
Here through this study most of the teachers of Physical Education have expressed that they have been facing extensive problems related with their school works and also the 120 teachers who have answered the criterion of coping with stress have put forth their attitudes upon the stressful situations they faced.
