Concept of st. Christ in İslam sufism models of Hz. Mevlana, Yunus Emre, Haci Bektaş-i Veli

Aim of this study is to evaluate St. Christ in Islam Sufism ,which forms an important place in different situations and subjects in the history of religions, interests divine religions. Study has started by investigating main sources accepted as basic Works in Islam Sufism. Great Islam Sufis St. Mevlana, Yunus Emre, Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli mentioned St. Christ in their works many times. Becauce, they see him as an ideal character in Islam Sufism. In works such as Masnawi, Divan-ı Kebir Makalat, Yunus Divanı St. Christ is seen both as an Islam prophet and personality who has a real position in Christianity.

St. Christ, in Sufism, is accepted as person reached the ‘Fena Fillah’. It is a point we have reached after our research that St. Christ’s post is one of the posts that Sofi will visit on the way to becoming matured man. St. Christ in Sufism has a different post because of his different features from other prophets. Every divine miracles he is given after his submission to Allah, has meanings in the background. Besides miracles like his coming to world without father, refreshing the death, he is mentioned as ‘Soul’ in Koran, furthermore the event of ascending to heaven, became remarkable points in Sufism teology and a masterpiece in explaining self mystic conditions. It is seen that most of these views are in harmony with Christian sources.
