Management of project organizations and a practice in construction industry

In this study, the management of project organizations and practices in the
construction industry was taken up. The fact that project management is not being
applied enough professionally in most of the construction companies, indicates the
need to improve the conscious about this subject. Firstly, a literature study had been
made and theoritical part of the study was created. After the details about project
organizations, the subject of project management and project manager was studied.
Then, project management in construction industry was examined and obtained
knowledge was comprehensively presented. Finally, application of project
management process on a construction project was studied. This practice part was
applied in a leading holding company’s conrtactor firm with interview method.
